Aloha,
Although you can say we are a retired Firefighter / business person, Roy
and Joy are anything but. We are always on the move, working the five
acre coffee farm to grow a perfect cup of coffee, conducting kayak tours
across Kealakekua Bay, Cave diving in Honaunau Bay, kayak fishing a
few miles off shore, or traveling across China, Fiji, Mainland USA.
Home is our coffee farm, and we love sharing this beautiful tropical
paradise with everyone we meet. Joy's passion is to grow and cook the
healthiest food on this planet, along with letting our farm provide almost
every thing we need. As our farm evolves year after year, we become
more focused on sustainable living. How cool is it to hunt wild pig,
goat, cow, or spear a fish for the dinner table. Most times it is a fare
trade of some coffee beans to a neighbor. We live in our guest
house/office about 300 ft from the main house where we hope you come
and stay. We work the farm most days, but do spend a lot of time playing
in our beautiful ocean. Your privacy is important to us, but we are
around for a little talk story, share some local knowledge, and show you
the coffee farm life.
